MAPS 3 Transit
In December, 2009, Oklahoma City voters approved the MAPS 3 sales tax. The sales tax will begin April 1, 2010 and last seven-years and nine-months. This was a renewal of a previous one-cent MAPS tax.
The initiative will fund eight projects and is estimated to raise $777 million, including $17 million in contingency funds.
